Final Essay

Topic: You have the opportunity to visit a foreign country for two weeks. Which country would you like to visit? Use specific reason and details to explain your choice.

I have made a promise to myself. I have to visit a new country every year. In the last ten years, I have kept my promise. If I had the opportunity to visit a new foreign country for two weeks, I would ask me the same questions that I always have  to select a new country such as;  Is there something unique in that country that attracts me?, Are its architecture and cuisine exotic? Is there natural environment? The one country that answers all ‘yes’, it would be Austria.

Austria is the current home and historic birthplace of Classical Music in the world. It is Capital of Classical Music. Many of our most beloved composers such as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Franz Joseph Haydn, Johann Strauss, Franz Schubert, and Anton Bruckner found their origins and inspirations. The exquisitely trained and dedicated Austrian musicians continue to keep the traditions of classical music alive in this beautiful country and its exquisite concert hall. I love classical music and I studied piano before so that I would like to see and listen to the live philharmonic of Vienna.

Another reason that I would like to visit Austria is to experience its exotic architecture, cuisine and infrastructure. I would like to visit places such as City HallSchönbrunn PalaceVienna State Opera or St. Stephen's Cathedral. In addition, they have amazing cuisine such as Noodle & vegetable dishes, desert and wine. I would like to try their Viennese Sacher Cubes, which is a world famous delicious chocolate cake with apricot jam filling.  Furthermore, Vienna’s public transport network has to be seen, it is a smart architecture, after all, it is one of the best in the world and is in first place in the individual category “Getting around the city” (a comparison of 37 world cities), due its technology.

Finally, Austria has a natural beauty. I would like to spend three days in Hallstatt, it is Austria’s oldest and possibly most photographed village, it is something like an illusion in the Salzkammergut Lake Region. The best way to experience the magnitude of this famous location is by a ferry ride across the lake tucked between mountains.
In conclusion, Austria is a perfect destination to visit for two week vacation, because this has a mix of nature, architecture, technology and the highest quality of music. Austria has the oldest culture and architecture and the same time it is first in technology by smart architecture. Austria must be my next adventure.

Write about a favorite tradition of your family
My favorite tradition in my family is November 1 day of the dead, because in Guatemala we can visit cemetery and prepare traditional foods.

My favorite food is “Fiambre”, that is like a salad with different cheeses and it is a cold food.
We went with my siblings two days before and we painted the domes.

That sounds like pathetic experience but it is no true, that was funny for us, because other friends went with us and everybody were painting happy.  When we finished this, we were going to drink coconuts outside the cemetery and we started the competition about who drinks more coconuts.

I would like to repeat this experience that happened every year. Now we have grown and that is not same
.
I miss that time and I miss my siblings.

Yesterday, I received an email to offer me a new job, but I need to present my certification. If I lost this opportunity because they don’t send me a course, I will lose the control and they will have to listen me...

Relate an exciting experience from which you developed a particular talent or interest. All of us learn from our failures as well as successes. What is something you gained from an unsuccessful experience?

My exciting experience about my professional life was create my own company in a foreign country. That was an exciting experience to me; because I started not knowing anyone.

I had success in that experience and I learned a lot of about to deal with people and solve different problems in a company. My company became in the best in that country

I learned about finance, HR, sales, marketing, manager, leader team, third sector. The best value in that experience was learn to do that people worked happy.

However, I think that that was a wrong too, because I left my profession for about eight or more years. Every day I thought that I needed to come back to my IT profession.

Suddenly, I took the decision to come back at my profession and that was a hard work to me. I have prepared for this. I studied a master degree and now I am preparing my IT certification and also learning English to achieve my challenge.

However, I think that anybody in my profession has my experience in other fields. My possible “wrong decision” was an amazing experience that I would like to repeat.

This decision became one of my best decisions of my life.

Is there anything in your past that you would like to change? How would you change it if you could?

I have thought before about what thing I would like to change in my life, but my philosophy about this is always to be happy with I have achieved, because to see to the past and think about this and to try change it, maybe it can to be become in frustration.

However, I would like to talk about important thing in my past that I would like to change.

I would have liked to stay more time with my father because I have been a lot of time without my family, especially I would like to stay more time with my mom.

On the other hand, I wanted to be doctor as well, but I am engineer, it is well too. Always I have been busy in different activities, but I feel that I could have done more things my time. However, I see to my past, maybe I didn't have had time for that.

But you always can do better your life, maybe the first time when you do it, you are doing it the best that you can. Sometimes you can do it better, especially when you are in hard moments or when you aren't putting your heart in your actions.

I try to live in the present and to see to future and forget what happened in my past. My past is my amazing school and I carry with me all my beautiful experiences in my life.

Maybe, I have a question about my present. Was the best place to learn English in USA? And I think about, how could have been to me studying elsewhere? …

Crop Circles

Crop Circles

This is a mystery since 1970s, “crop circles” began showing up randomly all over the U.K. They were circles found in a field of grain or other crops. The designs of those circles varied.  Sometimes, they were simple. But other times, they were rather complicated.

There are two theories about who are the actors of Crop Circles.
First theory is:  They are made by aliens, because those pictures are perfect geometric figures and they have a big extension.

Second theory is: They are made by human, because there is profession called Cereologists who make it. In addition, cereologists use simple tools to do it such as rope, sighting wire and stake.

Have you ever been involved in some serious wrongdoing? What lesson did you learn from the experience?

If you like to travel around the world you need to have in your mind that you need to follow the rules of these new places that you visit. I think that if you want to feel freedom you must meet with law.

I have never ever been involved in some serious wrongdoing. I feel peace about this.

Sometimes you can have situations where you can be involved in wrongdoing such as traffic accident or attack from bad people or so on. But the most import thing is do always that better you can.

The first rule when you have a travel is: where you go, do as the Romans do, of course you must follow your principles.

I have learnt in my life about this because I have traveled for different countries and I have never had a problem with wrongdoing.

Only you have to be careful because others may do wrongdoing and you could be a victim.
